Thank you to Chick Festival Volunteers!

Posted on: June 10th, 2018 by webmaster

To our Chicken Festival Volunteers, Teachers, and Staff,

We can’t thank you enough for the fabulous job you did in making this year’s Chicken Festival a great success! We are grateful to have your support, and everything went as planned. There is no way we could have done this without you!

We had a huge turnout of volunteers, and they each made the day a success! Volunteers led games, crafts, decorated, read stories, and created a board game. Others helped make hats/bags/tags, took photos and kept us on schedule the entire festival. Our Farmers kept the children corralled, and the energy from our mysterious Chicken endured the June weather until he was unmasked!
Thank you to those who jumped in to help with set-up, and cleaning up, before and after the Festival. The event was memorable from beginning to end, with each of you doing your part with incredible enthusiasm!
We would also like to thank Ms.Spirito, Ms.Raffaele, Ms.Weart, Ms.Friedman, Mrs. MacDonald, Mrs.Sawin, Mrs. Carbutt, Glenn Hines and HOP for their invaluable help, advice, and support.

The Festival would not have been possible without all your hard work and cooperative spirit! The Festivals are memorable events for the children as they journey through their years at Haynes! We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Chicken Festival Co-Chairs,
Dee Tupta and Divya Narayan

The Kindergarten shed, an important part of the Kindergarten Chicken Festival was in desperate need of sprucing up. HOP would like to thank Target Painting of Sudbury, for their generous donation of all of the paint and labor to bring it back to life! Next time you pick-up, be sure to check it out!

Celebrate A Special Teacher Or Staff Member With The Gift of Reading!

Posted on: June 10th, 2018 by webmaster
Looking for a way to honor someone special at Haynes as school wraps up for the year?  Please consider a gift to our school’s library through the Gift of Reading program.  You can purchase a book to add to the Haynes Library’s circulating collection in celebration of a teacher or staff member who’s made a difference in your family.  Choose from Mrs. Kramer’s online wish list and a book will be delivered to school with the honored person’s name printed on a bookplate.  The honoree will also receive notification that they’ve been celebrated in this way by your family.  These books remain in our library’s collection to be enjoyed by the Haynes community for years to come.  Please contact Jodi Sparks with any questions.
