DIRECTORIES

What is the directory? The directory is a listing of all the students and staff at Haynes.

Is the directory print or online? Both. When you purchase a directory, you get access to both the online directory app, as well as a printed directory which will be delivered via your child’s backpack once they are printed.

Does my family have to be included in the directory? No. When you verify your data, there is an option to exclude your family from either or both the online directory and/or the print directory.

How do I verify my contact information for the directory? You should have received an e-mail with instructions. If you did not, please contact Molly Logan or Joanne Minassian. Verification must be done on a desktop or laptop computer, not from a mobile device or tablet.

Can I get extra print directories? Yes. There is an option to select additional print directories both in the HOP Webstore as well as via the Order Form. Each additional print directory is $5.00

When will the new directory be available? As soon as all information has been verified, the online directory app will be activated. The printed directories should be available shortly after that, once they have all been printed. The printed directories will come home in the backpack of your oldest student.

What if my contact information changes after the verification deadline? If your information changes, you can login to the online app and make changes to the online directory at any time. These changes will only appear online, since the printed directory is only issued at the beginning of the school year.

How do I buy a directory? You can purchase a directory from the HOP Webstore, or by sending in a check along with an Order Form to school or at back to school night. All orders must be submitted by September 25, 2015.

 NOTEPADS

What are notepads? The notepads are templates for sending information to teachers or the school front office. See what they look like HERE.

Am I required to use this form to send information in to school? No. You can always send in a handwritten note with your child. The notepads are simply designed as a time-saving option.

How do I use the notepads? Simply fill out the relevant fields on the notepad, and send it to school in your child’s backpack. These notes are great for when your child will be going home with another student on a different bus, when you need to change their transportation for a single day, or when you plan on picking up a child early for an appointment. How many notepads should I buy? That depends on how often you will likely send notes to school. If you have a lot of pick-up changes, or if your child will be doing play dates and travelling on different buses frequently, you might want to buy more than one notepad.

When will I receive my notepads? Your notepads will come home in your oldest student’s backpack when the shipment arrives.

If I run out of notes can I reorder? Yes, so long as supplies last, you can reorder via the HOP Webstore.

 MAGNETS

What are the magnets? The magnets are white ovals with HAYNES written in blue. See an example HERE.

Why a magnet? They are a fun way to show your support for Haynes on your car, refrigerator, or other metal surface.

How do I buy magnets? You can purchase magnets from the HOP Webstore, or by sending in a check along with an Order Form to school or at back to school night. All orders must be submitted by September 25, 2015.
