Why is the Annual Haynes Auction Important?

Did you know that the auction is the largest fundraiser of the year, and that every student at Haynes benefits from the auction? HOP spends $25,000 each year on cultural and science enrichment programs for all grades including amazing programs like 3rd grade Whale Day, 2nd grade “Lights and Lasers”, Kindergarten “Balls and Ramps”, 4th grade “Electricity Show”, and 5th grade “Kitchen Chemistry”, just to name a few.  HOP also funds artists in residence, all school performances, festivals, all classroom crafts and field day t-shirts.=

Haynes Auction – Call for Donations!

We hope to see everyone at the Annual Haynes Dinner and Auction on November 18th.  To make for a successful evening, we are looking for help from the Haynes community.  If you have something you’d like to donate to the auction, please contact Rory Richards.
Ideas for donations include: Bottles of wine, sports tickets, theater tickets, autographed sports paraphernalia, gift cards to stores and restaurants, the use of a ski house or other vacation rental for a weekend. Please feel free to contact Rory with ideas.
 All proceeds from the Auction fund enrichment programs for students in all grades at Haynes. Your support matters.

Haynes Auction 2017

Saturday, Nov. 18, 6:30 – 11pm

Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow

We are very excited to announce another great year for the Haynes Auction.  It’s a great night of dinner, dancing and lots of fun. Come visit our table at back-to-school night!

We are still looking for a few helpers for small tasks including publicity (submitting facebook and newsletter updates), and someone to do the RSVP necklaces (purchase bead necklaces, attach RSVP stickers and deliver them to classrooms in early November). These are great easy volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in helping, please email Rory Richards .

The auction is HOP’s biggest fundraiser of the year, providing the majority of funding for the HOP enrichment programs that take place in classrooms. We hold the auction in the fall so that the money we raise can be used during this academic year. 100% of the money we raise funds enrichment experiences for your children including classroom visits from authors, artists and presenters, grade-level cultural festivals, all classroom crafts, our annual field day and so much more.
