The Haynes Connection

To save you time and effort, we’ve included detailed instructions on HOW TO BOOKMARK one of these links so you don’t always have to come to the Haynes PTO website in order to start your shopping.

Saving a bookmark is easy. For detailed instructions click the appropriate platform and browser:

PC - Internet Explorer, PC - Firefox, Mac - Safari, Mac - Firefox.

PC Internet Explorer (IE) Bookmark instructions.

1. Hover your mouse over the icon above for the retail store you wish to bookmark.
2. Right-click on that icon (i.e. press your right mouse button. If you do this step incorrectly you will end up leaving this page and find yourself looking at the retailer’s website.)
3. Select  "Add to Favorites" from the menu that popped up when you right-clicked.
4. Name the bookmark. A suggestion for Amazon.com might be “Haynes Amazon Link” so that you are reminded that it’s HOP’s affiliate link to Amazon that you have bookmarked.
5. Choose a location to save the bookmark by selecting from the "Create In" drop down list.   We suggest putting it in your Favorites Bar.  Set a bookmark location that you will remember so that when you want to use your bookmark, you’ll know where to find it.
6. Click the "Add" Button and you are done. Use the bookmark whenever you wish to shop and have Haynes benefit from your purchases. NOTE: It’s important to realize that a successful bookmark will appear to take you directly to the retail store’s homepage. No reference to Haynes will appear anywhere, but the retail store will nonetheless make a note that you arrived using our link. 

PC - FireFox Bookmark Instructions

1. Hover your mouse over the icon above for the retail store you wish to bookmark.

3. Select “Add Link to Bookmarks”  from the menu that popped up when you CNTRL clicked.

5. Select a location to save the bookmark from the pull down menu. We suggest putting it in your Bookmarks Toolbar.
