Cultural Arts Program

Thanks to the gracious support of school families, Cultural Arts at Haynes which is sponsored by HOP, is an exciting component of excellence in support of the curriculum. We are delighted to announce a program of several all-school performances and grade-level programs. Our goal for the all-school performances is to expose our students to a diversity of Fine Arts experiences including theater, music, writing, visual arts, and dance. In addition to the all-school programs, Cultural Arts underwrites the individual grade-level programs that enhance the study of different cultures and provide support for the Festivals.

Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the all-school programs.

Multicultural Evening at Haynes:

We are looking forward another fun event this year on April 1st, 2020. We hope to have even

more cultures and countries represented.

Please join us for this fun, free, cultural evening at Haynes!

To make it a successful community event we need the support of our diverse Haynes family of

parents, students and teachers.

Come share your cultural heritage with the Haynes community! We have a several countries already signed up and look forward to having as many as possible!

This fun filled evening is an opportunity for all of us to learn and experience new music, new food and new facts. Children will enjoy their virtual trip around the world as they visit each booth and learn how rich in diversity our community is.

There are many ways you can help:

  • Host a booth: pick a country you want to represent
  • Organize a cultural performance by students (musical instrument, singing, dance or a skit) to share your culture
  • Bring a favorite food or treat from the country you are representing

This event is coming to Haynes on April 1st, 2020 from 6 pm – 8 pm. Please reach out to us by March 6th, 2020 to get involved.
