The Josiah Haynes Elementary School is one of four elementary schools that, along with the Ephraim Curtis Middle School, comprise the Sudbury Public Schools. Haynes Elementary was named after Deacon Josiah Haynes who was a descendant of one of the original settlers of Sudbury. The school enrolls approximately 400 students in grades K-5 and is located in North Sudbury. The Haynes community gathers for all-school meetings every Monday morning and Friday afternoon for recognition of birthdays, student performances, cultural enrichment and much, much more. The core values at Haynes are teaching and learning, community, communication, respect and responsibility.
