The 3rd Grade Colonial Festival will take place Wednesday, March 20th from 9:00am – 12:30pm. It will be a fun morning of colonial era crafts, games, and experiences that will bring the kids back in time to the year 1750 in Colonial New England.
Volunteer sign-ups can be found at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050F4FA8A722A75-colonial
This festival will not be possible without parent volunteers. We still have a number of volunteer spots open. Remember, this is the final cultural festival for our 3rd graders.
If you are interested in a craft station, supplies have already been purchased, and all instructions are provided. There is some minor prep for some of the crafts, so if you cannot make the day of the festival, but would like to help with pre-festival prep, that would be greatly appreciated also. There is now a spot on the sign-up to sign up for pre-festival prep. We are also still looking for “Bags & Tags” volunteers. If you are signed up as a tour guide, please consider helping with Bags & Tags as this takes place before the festival day (bags have already been purchased).
These festivals are a wonderful learning experience for our kids so we hope you can join us.
Please feel free to email any of us with questions.
