Everyone is invited to our HOP committee chairs meeting to kick off the school year on Tuesday, September 10th at 9:30am in the Haynes cafeteria! Come meet other volunteers, bring any questions you may have, get updates on each committee, and hand off materials to new volunteers. This meeting is for all HOP volunteers – new and veteran! Please come even if you are not on a committee but would like to learn more about getting involved. HOP is the Haynes Organization of Parents: an organization of parents and guardians of children attending the Josiah Haynes School. We interact with teachers, professional and administrative staff of the school; we foster, enrich and otherwise support the educational programs and related activities conducted by the school; we present cultural and science programs and activities that aid and supplement the curriculum; and we raise money to fund professional development programs, technology purchases, classroom supplies, playground equipment and much, much more.
