  • Communication Chair (Kristin Brawn): Keeps the school community informed and connected by creating and sending the monthly HOP newsletter, managing all-school email communications, and maintaining access to the online school directory.
  • Treasurer (Christy Dunn): Manages the HOP budget and oversees all financial activity for the organization. Responsibilities include tracking income and expenses, issuing reimbursements, maintaining financial records, and preparing regular reports for board meetings.

We’re currently looking for:

  • Co-Chair (2 year position): Support the Chair in running the PTO smoothly by helping with planning, communication, and coordination as needed. This role is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of PTO leadership. The Co-Chair may step in to lead meetings or represent the board when the Chair is unavailable and often helps manage special projects or support event leads throughout the year.

  • Assistant Communications Chair (2 year position): Supports the Communications Chair with creating and sending the monthly HOP newsletter and all-school emails. Helps maintain and update the online school directory as needed. This is a great role for someone who enjoys writing, organizing information, and staying connected with what's happening at school!

  • Assistant Treasurer (2 year position): Supports the Treasurer with managing HOP’s finances, including tracking expenses, processing reimbursements, and helping with budget organization. May assist with event-related funds (e.g., deposits, cash boxes) and help prepare financial reports. This is a great role for someone who’s detail-oriented and interested in learning more about PTO budgeting and financial management.

  • Appreciation Chair. (1 year position): Leads efforts to recognize and celebrate our amazing teachers, staff, and volunteers throughout the year. Coordinates thoughtful events and small gestures to show appreciation, with a special focus on Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5–9, 2025).
