FIFTH GRADE CARWASH VOLUNTEERS and BAKE SALE
Thank you for volunteering to help at the Fifth Grade Carwash! The carwash will run on May 21st (rain date: 5/22) from 9am-12pm at the Haynes side parking lot. Volunteers are asked to assist in shifts (ideally with their student) for which we will need about 8 parents for each shift. Should your schedule be able to accommodate it, feel free to sign up for multiple shifts. Tasks will include help in directing traffic and the carwash “line”, assisting students collect payments and make change if necessary, aiding in actual washing or rinsing higher spots on cars and general student management. We would greatly appreciate if you can bring any additional sponges, buckets and rags for drying should you have some in your home, however, we will have supplies for washing. As in years past, we will be including a bake sale with the carwash. We ask that any donations be separately wrapped with two items of whatever you are making per bag (i.e. two small brownies per bag, two cookies per bag). If you have a larger item like a cupcake, please package one per bag. Lastly, please label items with any allergens. Baked goods can be dropped off the morning of the carwash between 8:30-9:00am.
