Kindergarten Chicken Festival Signup

Dear Kindergarten Families:

On Thursday June 6th, Haynes Kindergartners will celebrate the annual Chicken Festival! This festival is an event full of games, crafts and music all focused around the chicken theme. Every grade at Haynes celebrates a festival that is aligned with their curriculum. This spring the kindergarteners will be observing eggs incubating in their classrooms. The eggs will hatch just prior to the festival. At the end of the festival, parents and children come together for a group sing-a-long and of course, the chicken dance! The festival is from 9:00am-12:00pm. Be sure to mark the date on your calendars!

We Need Your Help! We need many parent volunteers to help make this festival a success!  All of the volunteers will be given detailed instructions and guidelines on how their station is run. We have several years of notes to make sure all volunteers know exactly what needs to be done to execute a great festival. Here is a quick overview of some of the fun events and stations planned.

This is a fun event and a great way to meet other kindergarten parents.  We hope to hear from ALL Kindergarten parents as to how you would like to participate. Thank you in advance for your participation!
